The fact that the Droideka Destroyer Droid is such a threat to Jedi, in the main movies they basically always have to retreat or surrender when encountering Destroyers, making it basically Droid Gigachad as well as the incredible insectoid based design behind the Droid make it my personal favorite Droid ever since seeing Phantom Menace as a kid.

The original tactical droid from lego only had two curved arms, so they could not hold blasters like modern battle droids. The custom ones have the blaster arm. Additionally, I have made countless custom designs for droids lego has not released. Aquatic droids are nearly impossible to make look good with what we have currently. The body can be done to much effort, but the legs and head are very hard to get to look good. My favorite droid is either the Collicoid T4 Turret Droid or the B1 Plasma Droid, both from Star Wars: Jedi Power Battles from 2000.
