That's the best journaling idea video I've seen 😮 I feel super inspired now! I'm someone who is using a journal in a million different ways because life keeps on changing. With previous journals I've always ended up being frustrated because it eventually looked messy and cluttered. I think the Cousin is great because of its simplicity and topics can be separated neatly. Initially I wanted to get the Hobonichi cousin A5, but seeing the A6 now in comparison I think it would feel too overwhelming to fill those big spaces up 😆 Thank you for the informative video!

Thank you! Honestly, I’ve used Hobonichi cousin (a5) as my journal on and off throughout the year (because, yes, life kept changing on me too 😂) and it was a whole lot to fill up. But I soon realized it’s ok to not make any sense in my journals. So at a point, I started to just write. And let me tell you, especially those crazy days, it really helped me get it all out onto paper and move on. Cheers to 2022 for us!!!

I ordered my first A6 Techo today with a pretty clear idea of how I want to use it - as a life balance planner. I need to build mine around health and your final idea was so very helpful for me. I know your goal is planning a better life too. Thanks for sharing your insights!

This is such a great resource for me because I just ordered an a6 and need ideas on how to use it because it doesnt have weekly pages and Im switching from my cousin because the a6 is more compact. THANK YOU
@Helenistique Жыл бұрын
I love that this video helped with some ideas for A6! Without the weekly pages, you can use maybe one of the weekend daily pages to plan out the week to see at a glance and then each day, the smaller tasks to tackle. That worked for me, too. 😊

Thank you for sharing! I ‘ve used A5, B6, and A6 Stalogy for some time. I just ordered a spring edition hobo weeks to try. Seeing the inside structure of the pages makes me know I have a good thing going on with my blank, unstructured Stalogy. I really appreciate the information you shared. It helped my decision making process. Blessings❣️

Have fun with the Hobonichi spring edition. It’s def a journey of trying out different spreads in it to figure out what works for your needs, but it’s been a great purchase for me so far.

I have a "day monitor" (raise arm)!! I call it a "Fleiß-Log" (diligence log) - I started this because I got frustrated over household work which is not productive. You only see what you have NOT accomplished. And tasks I have to keep migrating because they were too much. So to feel good about myself (and to tell why I'm tired at night), I just doodle down everything. My to-do list is right next to it, so that makes a nice block of visible accomplishments. 😀
@Helenistique2 жыл бұрын
I love that! And yes, I agree. Planning is not for the purpose of penalizing ourselves with anxiety because we don’t “accomplish” hundreds of things we set out to do in a day. We have great intentions and that’s why we plan. It took me many many many years to realize that I am still doing great because I am doing my best. Not every single day, but still trying, and I believe that’s something to be absolutely grateful for. Cheers!! We’ve got this!!💪🏻

Such a helpful video! Thanks for sharing:) I'd like to try the Techo in the A6 size in the near future and I especially love the idea of the health journal! I 100% agree with what you've said about the "monitor journal"! it's actually what I've been doing in my main journal for a while too--- it's so fun + helpful!

Yay I found you! 😃 I had watched this a while back and kept your time monitoring idea in the back of my mind. Last week I reorganized my planners and decided to take your suggestion. I am really enjoying using my Hobonichi Techo for time management and wanted to thank you for the idea but I couldn’t find you…until now! (I follow a lot of planner channels! 🤣) I actually just deleted finding you from my tasks list. I gave up. Two minutes later I found you. Thanks 🙏 Are you still doing this?
