I met Andreas and his father during the week, very confident kid, chatty as hell. We spoke about scales, to which he told me, he doesn't know the names of the scales or notes and isn't really sure what the chord names are. That is just brilliance.

Amazing! Just imagine the next few years will see this young guitarist's hands, fingers all grow and improve his dexterity even further! I don't think that in a lifetime of practice I could attain what this fellow has achieved at age 12.

How can anyone thumb down on this? Even if you don't like jazz guitar the kid gets a thumbs up for having achieved at 12 what most don't in a lifetime. I have played for 45 years, taught for many of these, and have never seen such a talent. I am sure we will hear much, much more from this lad.

What a little beast. Yeha, any time anybody tells you "there's no such thing as talent, it's all hard work" show em this kid. Everybody can play like this by the age of 12? A lot of guitarists wouldn't be half as good after 50 years of playing. Pure talent and of course hard work and great teaching combined. I couldn't play augmented arpeggios, whole tones licks and altered scales at 22 let alone 12. His chops and advanced understanding as young as this is quite frightening. Born to play.

Yes, this is true... But remember one thing : never understimate what you can accomplish if you practice and believe in yourself!

I have to disagree. I actually think you can be this good or better in 5 years. So lets say he started at age 7 he got this good at 12. Lets say he practiced technice for 2 hours EVERY day and also theory 1 hour and ear training one hour in that case you would easily get this good in five years.

Ye my Roma brother you were born to play guitar 🎸 👑 .. and man how many many great giants of artist comes from the Roma community guitars to violin to bass in every instrument we have giants at such an early age .. but I’m happy George benson and Quincy jones discovered him bcuz he would be unknown just like many of our great musicians .. if there’s anything Roma people good at than would be music all styles of music .. ❤ 🙏

If you can't see and appreciate what is happening in front of your eyes and ears as you watch and listen to this, without suffering from the cruel impulse to invalidate this supreme player and his playing, I feel nothing but pity for you! This guy is more interesting to watch than a lot of other players and not because of his age, but because the spark in his eyes when he he is playing and when he goes for a more difficult passage and pulls it off!
