People keep moving to my state with these Cali businesses and buying up our operating licenses. Our state has only been open 3 years and half the people here are out of another state. We call it the "gold rush". Dude said he was humble, he's a greedy ass breeder just like the rest of the companies the flooded out to Oklahoma. We dont want you here hahaaha

I have watched many of these podcasts and I have to say I really like yours. The reason why is I like your temperament. I have found many people I liked at first, only to later find out they are fully out of control and/or lack education. I can tell your truly a kind person by general nature and honest. TY.

Cartier is the truth. Thanks for having him on Chris. I been telling you bout him and his genetics for a couple years. He’s got the strongest most resilient and potent strains I’ve grown. Been growing nothing but Native Sun for a few years now. This guy is dedicated to helping everyone who wants to grow like nobody else. Boogatti Apple Butter Cookies and Cartier Diesel and Scotti Pimpn a few of my favorites.

Great episode! It's interesting that he went to Costa Rica to hunt landraces. I wish I could have spoken to him first! I lived there for 9 years and smoked every day. And I have friends there still. He would probably love to get some good Mango Rosa seeds from there. It's a very nice sativa if it's grown and cured right, and that's a big problem there. They want to cut, dry and sell as soon as possible there. Cured buds are rare there, and there's lots of mold. 8 months of rain makes it tough to do correctly, especially on a tiny budget. But you can find bud that you know could be great if it was treated right. If anyone wants to go down there and hunt, I can go help. I speak Spanish fluently like they do there, and I know the culture. And I know people around the capitol and more by the border with Panama where I lived. We can go to Panama too but I don't know anyone there. The Mango Rosa is grown down that way and if someone could get the real stuff and breed it, something special should come from it. And I'd love to help find it. Costa Rica is awesome and I didn't want to move back to the states.

Great show Chris, and thank you Cartier for sharing some much information on plant genetics and breeding. So if you have S1 genetics of strain, trying to self cross it would end up in a mutant seed, but you can clone. Best way is purchase regular seeds of the strain and then separate, the females from the males. I noticed that a lot of KZbin growers use regular seeds have fantastic looking plants, and higher yields.

Keep the pollen in your freezer. You won’t have the concern of it getting damp. Fridges have some humidity. Freezers aren’t quite as wet.

I have seen popped beans in a seeds harvest... I let the plant go to about week 10 to 11 in flower ( I work primarily with autos...) and about 5% started to germinate while still on the plant... and I notice the popped beans during harvest.. after everything dried.

Really appreciate the work you put here. keep growing your channel and this beautiful community. Love from Venezuela.

If you really need seeds you can use colloidal silver or silver thiosulphate to grow pollen sacks on a female just look up the effect on cannabis

The preference for non-feminized seeds is fascinating. Like many I started with autos, until I saw how much better my buddy's photos were. I wonder if there is a similar improvement using regular seeds instead of feminized...
