Apparently the arresting officer said to Jamie that he new it wasn’t him ! But he got to lock him up ! We all know it wasn’t him ! But as the saying goes it’s not what you know it’s what you can prove in court ! Hope he gets justice !

Well done Jamie , just wanted to add for clarity, when the justice system was so broken that a police force at that time did not do due diligence, a lot of breaches . Jamie suffered systematic failing of each agency involved and that is a fact . I should also point out , it’s not new evidence needed it’s the agency’s that need to be held accountable for the evidence put forward which should have been thrown out as it was an unsafe conviction in my opinion .

This was an excellent episode. I lived in the area for 15 years but never really knew about this case. 15 year sentence is extreme, but i never even heard anything about any appeal? People have got less for manslaughter. Jamie is very open in this and his story is very compelling, but no hard evidence is really brought up yet, but he did say that some stuff cannot be told until he can say it in court. Good luck Jamie and hope you can clear your name .

Adamsdwon is all of what...3 streets .. this happened 2004... evan the local chippy gaffa, KNOWS JAMIES INNOCENTS .... it wos a open closed case soon a south wales police locked anyone up for it... this lady needs to know whats shes done... fucked a 15 year old boys life up, ruiened my mothers life, and almost got me 11 years of age at the time sexually assaulted...i think she needs a kick up the arse n TAKE THIS SHIT BACK TO THE COURT ROOM...now the corrupt lawyers , who wos involved, r dead...

Typical of South Wales Police! Too many innocent individuals lives have been ruined by these spineless,heartless b##tards. Hope Jamie gets justice and someone looks into the many miscarriages of justice that these people are responsible for. And somehow pay for what they did to the many innocent individuals who were stitched up like kippers,just to get easy convictions to close the cases! Also hope that the true perpetrators of these horrific crimes serve time,not just for the victims but also for the wrongly accused!

As someone who has lived a life and spent many years in jail this brings up questions for me, what was the evidence against him? Forensics? Prints? Eye witnesses? ID parade? Surely this whole case isn't based on the victim identifying him in court, there would have had to be other evidence to charge let alone convict? Was it a jury that convicted? How many mojority was it? 12 years seems a big sentence if based on no evidence

Hey aqua man , rite the only evidence that ever went against me was this lady saying it was me, there was a hammer and knife involved but wasn't mentioned at court,, and the other thing they harassed my mum for her statement to put me at the scene that's why the police wouldn't take my mates statements who I was with because they know it would've got me off as I wasn't there, but honestly keep firing questions away

Any up dates on those whos names are being said to have done it, it's been a year or so since this interview and there's no new news on this,or other convictions of those said boys, being charged or jp,s convictions being overturned or reviewd,any up dates would be appreciated. thanks cullen,great interview,to be honest its one of those cases where there seems to be bits of the jigsaw mission, iff he say he inocent and he nows the names and he has the proof and evidence of the said boys,why ain't it being put before the courts, may be it will go back to court,i hope all those involved in this horrible crime get the justice they desperately deserve,good luck,
