I saw a lot of incompetence in this battle. First of all, the knights of old could have closed the portcullises and fought the Jedi off from the walls with arrows, rocks, and flaming tar pots. While this wouldn't have stopped the Jedi since their lightsabers literally cut through anything, it would have greatly slowed them down. Also a lot of Jedi got themselves killed by separating from the group or from stretching themselves too thin. Now I will get off my soap box.
