I’d assume whoever is in the “smart home” scene have solar panels or alternative for these cases. And backup house batteries that are usually wall attached. Feels real weird that this exists but it’s cool. I forget the naming but Tesla makes this kind of tech if you’re curious.

@@kyiastar realistically, powering the whole house with solar power isn’t reliable. Getting hacked isn’t an issue as it’s already possible with normal houses. And if the power goes out it’ll usually be due to low charge. You can watch a video made by MKBHD about his experience being completely solar powered. While it’s possible, some days he still had to use normal land power due to cloudy weather or other conditions
