Oops. After double checking my motherboard manual the RAM sticks need to be placed in slots 2 and 4 for optimal performance. My bad 😂😂

This was the case for my Asus Prime X470 Pro as well. First I thought the BIOS update would fix that but it didn't. with Slot 1 and 3 it doesn't boot. I wonder why those 2 slots.

True! In some slots your PC doesn't even boot, but in this case everything was fine in slot 3 and 4, so it booted and it recognized everything. Besides that the RAM slots are not color graded. But I had my doubts the next morning because of my earlier builds, so I checked my manual and slot 2 and 4 were the slots for optimal performance 😀

TechBoost I put my samsung 970 on the NVMe slot 2 ( the one without heat-sink ) because that one is running in PCIE 3.0 x 4 mode. The slot you used is running in PCIE 3.0 x 2 mode only ( half of the speed ).

I feel like you should have gotten like an NZXT Kraken as your cooler, and then also gotten the black NZXT elite case.

Hi Invis! I agree the stock cooler needs to be replaced haha. So the build isn't finished. This week I will upload another video where I finish the build with a GPU and cooler. I'm not into watercooling tho, so I go with the Dark Rock Pro 4 😁 About the case; I had my doubts which color i should get, but with the NZXT Elite Case Black there were no white parts. So for my black/white setup the White variant was the best pick 😁

when i turn my pc of the asus log (led) and my rgb keybourd is still on did i put the case cabels wrong???

Hi! Thanks for reaching out! I'm also using the B360-F Gaming and when I'm turning off my PC the RGB stays on. In my situation it's not a big problem because the Dark Rock Pro 4 is covering the biggest part of the RGB. Want to turn it off? Check this out: rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?93612-Motherboard-LEDs-staying-on About my K70 RGB keyboard, it turns the RGB off when shutting down the PC but when it's not turning off I can just simply press the brightness button on the keyboard itself. Nice video , Have question for you need your help .. i order a 970 Evo PLus SSD model ( MZ-V7S500B/AM ) and need to put on My Motherboard model : Asus B360-F ... Have 2 M.2 SLoT ONe is .2_1 socket supports PCIe 3.0 x2 and SATA and the order is .2_2 socket supports PCIe 3.0 x4 , i plug in what of this 2 slot ? Tanks for your Support !!!

Go for the lowest m.2 connectio, the PCIe 3.0 x4 modus. If I'm correct you can get higher speeds with your m.2 ssd in that slot 😊

I built my pc, turned it on. The lights on the pc turn on, fans running, wires connected. But I cannot get a signal to my monitor? What should I do?

Maybe this solves your problem: 1. Connect it with your dedicated GPU, don't connect it with the motherboard connection. 2. The monitor is on the correct input source. 3. Still not working? Remove your power cord and hold the power button for 30 to 60 seconds. After this time connect your power cord and turn your PC on. Let me know if it's working!

Hmmm.. did you try another monitor? Or maybe connect another laptop/pc with your current monitor. Just to check what's causing the problem..

well i recommend you buy hdd as storage since you have NVME as main for OS, and then buy the save money for cooling, since you dont have GPU, processor alone will do all the work..

hey man i never worked with this mother board but from experience the ram are in the wrong slots its normally the first and the third slot if you are only going with 2 but could be different on that MB but take a look it should tell you by the ram slots

i know that 1080 ti isnt cheep but you have new i-7 and it wont be bottleneck with 1080ti but if you have 1080p monitor take 1070

Yes it will run fine with this build. Minecraft is actually playable with Intel Graphics, so you won't especially need a dedicated GPU. The minimum video card requirement for Minecraft is the Intel HD Graphics 4000 and those are from 2012 😁

Would of just got the i5 8600k instead and used that extra money on a good cooler. That stock intel cooler isnt going to do the job.

TechBoost even for video editing you need GPU for better performance especially with Adobe Premiere Pro

Abishak Sharma Totally agree to that Abishak! But as I said, in a few weeks I'll get my GPU for better performance. For now I use this build for editing without a GPU. It's going okay so far since editing asks the most of your CPU, but for optimal performance I will need both. 👍

I recommend if your gonna get a gpu to get a 1060 8gb for $360 with two fans, or a 1070 6gb for $500 for most bang for the buck. This is if you don’t want to spend $1200 on a 1080 or titan

There is actually thermal paste on the CPU. Recently I switched the stock cooler with the Dark Rock Pro 4 cooler so the CPU is good to go! :D

I totally agree with that! At the moment of the build I didn't had all my PC parts. Soon I will upload a second video about my PC build with my new GPU, new cooler etc. :)
