He didn't hate the song. He hated the fact that it was the only song people associated with the band. The only song people demanded they play at every concert hence why Kurt straight out refused to play it in the last few concert tours.

Ps the amps go to PA with panoramic Mic and sm57 in the first line every musician have ear monitor, drummer and singer in ear monitor with beltpack sennehiser and guitarist and bassist with Silent Disco System Headphone. It was one song from a concert played last Sunday, July 24th in Cesena, Italy. There was 250, guitars, 250 drums, 250 basses, 250 singers, about 30 keyboards, 20 violins, and 20 bagpipes. Rockin'1000. All in all there were 18 songs played.

Right to information, i was there to play guitar. If you look someone that not playing during some part of the song it's because we were divided into two columns of guitars, the lead guitar (125)near the 250 drums and the rhythm guitar, 125 as well. And near the camera you see the rhythm guitar coloumn, for them the riff during the verse was optional and they don't do the solo. i don't want to see someone says "FAKE"

No people, Kurt wouldn't "love" this. Don't get me wrong, it's amazing that all these musicians get to play the same song with passion and joy, but if you're doing a Nirvana tribute, don't play this song. Kurt hated it because he created it as "a joke" and it became popular so fast that he started hating it. He often played it faster live aswell. Neither the less, good job.

It wasn't actually a tribute to Nirvana. Last year they did it as a tribute to the Foo Fighters and to ask them to do a concert. This year they did it as a tribute to rock music itself and they played various songs from different bands. Nirvana was just one of them.
