120CM+ MONSTER LANDBASED MELBOURNE MULLOWAY! How To

Juz and bacon headed out on a fishing mission to land the almight 1 in a million fish of a lifetime in a local river known as the Maribyrnong river. There has been plenty of attempts and my first ever and only mulloway before this GIANT was between 70-80cm and was on a softplastic from knart when i was a teenager fishing landbased for flathead off princess pier. Is it illegal fishing live bait in Victoria? I did use live carp fishing on Murray river I got warning could cost $300 for that fine

Nah it is not illegal if the fish you are using is legal size and caught from the same water way, Unless it is a carp as they are not aloud to be released at all in vic and that also applies for any of the carp family even goldfish. What you did is deffinantly illegal but at least you only got a warning and now you know for future reference. Dont take my word for it as there may be other fish you can not use as livebait.

Yeah mate, first would be ground bait (powder not pallets) and close to the bank. Use tiny hooks and chicken as lightly weighted as possible
