I use normal mode drive from Selangor to Kedah, got 13.1km/litre using ur same method (refuel and see figures). But in city driving, yeah it does consume quite a lot of fuel. Some people said if using eco mode, the fuel consumption will be worse (kinda defeat the purpose of eco haha).

Highway FC looks ok. I got to try more see if eco mode really worse than normal ones then haha

@@khunc maybe a tip would be to drive not too slow or too fast on highway would be optimal. i drove at speed around 100-130km/h along the highway. The extra weight that the car carries also affects the fuel consumption, like how many bags or people (or even if those people already eaten or have their bladder full, i am not joking). You can read in the user manual on page 119 for "economical driving" section.

I filled rm90 full tank. Got 589km . Went to perak and after the trip still have 350km left driving in eco mode . Only 3 bar went down

589km on what condition? RM90 you use RON95? Or u refuel it when it's very low?

@@PropertyBuddy yeah very low. Yup ron95 but then can only go about 500km the consumption is so high 🥲🥲i dont really drive that fast just 90-100 . Well afterall 589 just its assumption

Does your X50 at times brake abruptly to a stop during stop-go traffic? I find that it regulates speed well on moving traffic. However during stop-go situation, there are times the braking to standstill isnt smooth.

Yes. I notice that. There is 2 scenario - sometime even there is no car cut into my lane, the cruise control sometime makes a harder braking during a stop and go situation - sometime a car cuts in, it it's not responsive enough then it suddenly brake, which is abit hard

The ACC/ICC function can use in very jam condition? eg: 20 - 30 km speed after working hours.

Yes. I always use it for start stop jam. The car drives n follow the front car. If the front car stop, the car will just follow to stop. When they resume , the car follow to resume too.

I heard that the FC of the proton x50 is high when the car is new but improves as you use it more. Is that true?

Not sure yet cos the car is still very under utilized for me. ☺️ But I like how it drives and the comfort definitely better than similar priced car like HRV

Hi, I got my flagship X50 car for less than 2 mths and currently mileage is at 4400+km, drove only at Eco mode and average fuel consumption on city driving plus highways is 10.2 Litres per 100km. Felt the FC is really high and true as per what William shared, not as per claimed by Proton at FC of 6.4L/100km. Can I know are your X50 cars now after 10 months are more economical in terms of FC?

8.5km/l city 10km/l highway Direct competing SUV are Toyota Corolla cross and coming HRV which should be 128k to 138k. So even if price flagship Vs price of CC and HRV, x50 still value for money 💰

But problem is, x50 is an suv which is way more heavier than a compact hatchback car, so the slight difference of fuel consumption is understandable
