Its the 1:24 scale of the "carrera" slot cars. As it works digital you can habe more than one car per lane.

How is your track slightly wider at the sides. How is it not just a slim double lane. This looks much better? Any tips on how you set up your track? Number of straights etc etc? Brilliant videos

Not sure about scalextric but carrera border you can get from any hobby shop that sells Carrera
