I once spent a night in Columbia TN thanks to a blown tire on the Natchez Trace Parkway (which has the makings of a country song now that I think about it). Studied up on the local info in the hotel brochures...I missed "Mule Day" by a week! Enjoy College Station and Gig 'Em, as I'm told they say down there.🤠

I'm so glad my grandpa didn't actually gig the bullfrogs he was showing me in the middle of the night while we were checking trot lines, and he had two gigging sticks with him, just to walk with while he was explaining about what they were used for when my uncles all went 🐸 gigging. I was fascinated by his heavy duty water proof flashlights that he tied along the way in the boat, to the lines we were checking. They lit up the murky water. It's like we went through some kind of maze on the water and then worked our way back taking in the fish and the flashlights. He had his own sort of rock garden and a special set of rocks he posted up designated for fish cleaning. It was what was for breakfast often. I couldn't handle eating the fish then, so grandma would let me have rice and toast. Sometimes she would do onion rings and I would eat those. I just had made friends with the giant outdoor cold kettle of minnows my grandpa kept. 🤘🏻

The weather went weird last night, and at some point besides intense wind, it sounded like hail was pelleting into various outside spinning fan things, like some of it was maybe coming through the vent stack. It seemed like dry dusty hail, is what was weird about it. Seemed even stranger sounding when I woke up later in the morning, and like lots of planes were happening. That's why all this buffering thing and just not loading email, made me wonder. I checked to find out which wifi connection I had, and it was 5g. Sometimes switching back to an earlier version can help, even if it's not as fast. Not tried that yet though. The phone ran out of juice halfway through this video also, earlier. Plugged it in and got showered and changed the sheets for awhile. "Ah oooo!" I have to say I was, feeling like a werewolf prior to this improvement. Wish I had access to a big machine to wash my quilts in. Fresh sheets, is nice. Fresh quilts would be the top! Just glad maybe whatever is going on outside isn't, fallout.
