Resin Pendants
I used Platinum 360+ resin for these gorgeous pendants. I used Chameleon pigments from glitter and crafts 4U and iridescent glass beads from Le Rez.

I already posted but I just bought a mug warmer it plugs in and like at your desk you put your coffee cup on it and it keeps your coffee warm. Works well warming my resin. HOWEVER use like a glass dish or coffee mug your resin cup will fit in. In other words don't put plastic cup on warmer it does get very warm an I melted a plastic solo cup (it was a mess). Just wanted to share that.

I tried the coffee cup warmer and it heated my resin too fast. I will try your trick with setting my resin mixing cup inside a coffee mug and see if that helps.

I have been so sick for the past week with a sore throat and my favorite, and I just left my butt off till it hurt when you said what you did about the aliens laying eggs! It just looks hilarious to me! These are beautiful, julie! I wish I had the stuff to make the sunflower one for my daughter-in-law. That's her favorite! And I wish my mama was still here, and I would do one with a rose for her! I love doing things for her!

I am new to any type of crafting. I am trying to learn due to illness & I have to say your videos are such an inspiration because when things may not be going quite to plan you don't stop recording & delete it. You leave it in & it shows to all the new crafters it is ok, it can happen but then you also demonstrate this is what you can do if it happens, as much as I love watching demonstrations on KZbin (from never having watched it, its an addiction lol) the real ones are the most beneficial to inspire & encourage people to give it a go & if it goes not the way you may have wanted to carry on & try again sorry this is such a long message but I just wanted you to know from a mental health point of view how inspirational & helpful your videos are & I genuinely think they help a lot of people out there

Hi Julie if you look at the labels on your Chameleon powders you will notice that the colour that is in them is the colour that the words are written in. Beautiful hearts, well done 😍

I'm obsessed with the molds. Really cool. I was surprised that you haven't used flowers before, but when I think about you don't add a lot of things to your pieces. I have had a jar of those little bubble beads forever and I haven't known what to do with them. I got them free with some order and I had never seen them in Resin. So now I know. I use a pen with a wax cone on the end to pick up rhinestones, etc. for nail art. I think it would work wonderful for those tiny little gold confetti pieces!

The ones that are clear with flowers you can do tiny beads , or do wispy white clouds! There so beautiful! I will order these, I just got my coasters and no one has such awesome molds. So I Thank you😋

Gorgeous, love the ones with the glass beads! I saw someone use 99% Alcohol in a spray bottle that sprayed resin after each step to pop bubbles instead of a torch. Worked beautifully.

The leather cord is called rawhide here in the U.S.. Those are very pretty, especially the flowers. And I like the bubbles. Gives them character. Great job.

with bumpy floaty things I usually put them on some grease proof paper and put a thin layer of UV resin on them when they era dry they have a flat side so when you put them in the moulds they dont have as many bubbles :)

I love those molds/pendants! I also really loved the color shifting mica behind the beads. To prevent bubbles behind the flowers: I tried laying out my pressed flowers on a silicone mat and poured just enough resin over the flowers to cover them. Used a torch and let them cure, trimmed away any excess cured resin. I’d heard that sliding something in also works to help with bubbles so, I slid the flower on an angle (like sliding a card into a deck of cards) in a shallow layer of resin and moved it back and forth to get the bubbles to come up. I didn’t have any bubbles in my final piece. I think I have the same pressed flowers you have, mine were really fragile. It was more work but, I do think it helped with the bubbles and I didn’t need to worry about my flowers falling apart. I hope this long winded explanation made sense. Also, I came across a great tip for deep molds and bubbles. It worked beautifully, take a hand held vibrating back massager and place it at the bottom of the mold, it’ll vibrate the bubbles right to the top. Thankfully it did occur to me to not fill it up all the way before I tried it! 😂 Thanks for another great video!

I was thinking that same thing...was wondering if she could make 2 clear hearts, let them dry then add the pressed, dried flowers sandwiched between the 2 halves using UV Resin as the sealant and making them a complete, fully rounded puffy heart ❤

Julie when I use dried flowers I always coat them with resin before I put them in the mold. Put them in while the resin on the flowers is still wet. It works for me and I don't get so many bubbles. Beautiful work once again!

Love, love these!! Might need those molds in my life soon 🥰 By the way those tiny gold pieces look like they are for nail art. I use them in my projects and the way I pick them up is to first pour some out onto a paper napkin, then use a silicone moulding pen (with the soft rubbery tip) and that seems to work for me. You have one of those pens, I saw you bring it out when you did your bling coasters to see if you might need it to spread the glitter in the middle. Anyway, thanks so much for always sharing your art with us, I've learned so much from watching you and I appreciate that you still show when things don't always work out. We learn together! Not sure whatever we're going to do with ourselves when you don't make daily videos haha xoxo

Put your flowers on a cake or cookie pan, cup works too. Layer desiccant silicone beads under and over the flowers, rose buds etc. Wait about a week or so and it dries them as colorful and beautiful as when they were just picked. I got them of Amazon. Many layers and so beautiful. Mine turn green when liquid is in them. They can be baked low or microwaved to dry and can be used over and over again. No more flattening them in a book. A red rose bud would be fantastic in the pendant.
