I have never tried these kinds of Cichlids...love the contrast between the dark surroundings and the bright white sand and rocks....makes those colors on the fish really pop! I would love to try the shell dwellers someday. My house is just too small for a huge tank for the Africans. Thanks mate! Yes, the scape seems to be great for viewing and the fish seem very happy...nice job!
@cichlidscape5 жыл бұрын
Sean Meister yeah I do love the contrast. Definitely make the fish pop I think! You should try it in one of your smaller African tanks👍🏻 & thank you. Hope you enjoyed the video my friend!

A small question for my personal aquarium What about the african chiclids
@My-World-All-The-Time4 жыл бұрын
Any suggestion because I have given more hiding spaces and my tank is 4feet in length 2feet in height and 20 inches in width
@My-World-All-The-Time4 жыл бұрын
And should I reduce them or keep the same as it is

Manuel Puentes oh jeez that’s awful. Sorry man. That’s very unlucky. Hope you get your tank going again soon! Thanks for checking this one out my friend👍🏻

Looks good. I think a few more rocks would round out the tank nicely,. Will you forage got them yourself? Sort of sad you took the skull out. That was kind of like that tank’s signature. Peer pressure maybe?
@cichlidscape5 жыл бұрын
Pat O yeah I sure will. I usually find all my rocks locally👍🏻 & I’m actually using the skull in a breeding tank atm. A males hideout👍🏻 once I get another hideout, I’ll probably bring the skull back into this tank pat! Thanks for checking this one out & commenting mate!

What’s the name of the yellow fish? I want one
@cat_family3695 жыл бұрын
Hiiii My friend m Ritesh, I have mixed Malawi tank I ve big 5 feet tank in that my ruby red now near 3" but I scared coz f dominant males also in my tank but I know when mbuna peackok and haps live together they never compete with each much more.. But my question is in my tank other males are there near 6" but till they couldn't fight for any thing for them I add more females coz to avoid there fight and I successfully done that job but question is is he showing proper color even in availability of dominant male ..right now he is 70% in coloration but I want he fully charged so will he open his color and I feed good carnivorous and harbivourus food and blood worms I mean proper feeding water changes temperature 27 degrees... So what's ur advice for US for his proper health and coloration and any advice for other fishes and can u have any magical trick to growing theirs color and health simultaneously even in agrresion in tank......Your advice is valuable for mine... Thanku....

How is your tank so clear with you moving all that sand around ??
@cichlidscape5 жыл бұрын
JOSEPH AQUILA I think it’s the type of sand I’m using & how long I’ve used it for👍🏻 it clouded up a little, but not anything crazy which was nice. Thanks for watching my friend!

What sand is this u used mate?
@petercsigo99355 жыл бұрын
Man you wasted time and energy when you could have Oscars and they would re-scaped your aquarium in no time and you wouldn't even have to give them treats lol but seriously the tank is looking good.
@cichlidscape5 жыл бұрын
Peter Csigo Hahahaha they scape tanks themselves huh😂 thanks man I appreciate it. I’m really liking how it’s looking too! Some more catfish are going to make it look even better I think👌🏻
