Got mine at Bass Pro Shops about 8 months ago. With side gate and the only thing I change was the loop. Went with a big loop. Nice rifle.

I have the color case version and love the heck out of it. Just put a Leupold 3x9 scope on it to help my 56 year old eyes. A 30-30 will take care of all game in the south including the two leg kind that bump in the night.

I just bought a Henry to go along with my ARs, might get another strike eagle to put on it or a vudu. Kinda really digging LPVOs since with vortex they come with NV1-2 for "bear hunting".

The 30-30 is one of the best hunting rounds ever. I hunt everything with this round. It has never failed to kill everything i shot with it. Including 2 bull Alaskan moose

Just recently got my henry 30-30win and henry 45-70govt both side gates, while iv always been a Marlin lwver guy through and through i do like the henry side gates im imo not crazy about the tube loading part but i will say that i do love the look of the henrys, i still grab my marlins for hunting but as far as the range so far the henrys are tack drivers 150%. I have three henrys so far. The 44 mag, 45 colt and the 3030. I shot my 44 this past saturday, my 45 colt yesterday and going to take my 3030 to the range. When it stops raining. My 45 colt is my first ever lever action rifle. I have never owned. Much less shoot a lever action rifle. Now just tryimg to find the 357 and add that one. I did have one malfunction with my 44 ejecting. But it was operator error. Not rifle error.

I finally got my hands on a henry 3030!!!!! Hell yeah, its the large loop Steel side gate,,, i ordered the HiViz sights, ive got the rear sights on already, had trouble taking the front sight off, its on pretty tight,, but i doo love the way it looks now the rear sight, compared too the buckhorn sight,,,,, its such a badass rifle. Classic

Just bought a Henry 30-30. Always wanted one and after the NM governor said guns are illegal. Had to get the one gun not in my collection. The Henry won the first Civil War, i should own one should a second one happen. Looks great with my ARs.

Arguably a good peep rear sight is the best way to go for a non-magnified sighting option. Skinner makes a beauty for the Henry.

I'm a Henry fan also. I have a brass 44. Iove mine. I have a 0-4 Pentax. Scope on mine.i shoots very well. Kills deer, very well. I dulled my recipe we with 0000 steel wool. I love the way it looks now. It is still brass just not shiny.

Just looked at some Henry rifles at a Sportsmans warehouse today. Absolutely dismal build quality on the 22's. You could literally see daylight in the gap between the back of the reciever and the stock. The metal looked cheap as could be. And plastic barrel bands?! The homesteader looked better, but not to the level it needed to be for it's price. Really disappointed.

Henry is my favorite firearms company, favorite firearms. My Henry 22 wmr is my favorite out of all my collection. If you guys would make a 22 hornet lever gun. It would be for the win. 100 years later the technology has to be here right 😅.
