I'm kinda surprised that the Infinite Justice and Justice never get much attention. It's always Freedom this and Providence that lol. With its pilot and color being a reference to the beloved char, you'd think Athrun's suit would be more loved -_-

The sad thing about the Justice is what it can do that makes it special (back pack, double bladed beam saber) the Freedom can either do too or does something better. They definitely didn't do enough to make the original Justice stand out as a more superior close range MS. Some of that was addressed with the Infinite Justice by adding a few extra close quarters options such as the beam blades on the knees and on the wings of the back pack. But they definitely still made Strike Freedom the obviously superior Gundam. Which is sad because I love the Justice. I just wish it had been given more to differentiate between it and the Freedom. Jesus Yamato gets everything

It needs an anti-ship sword. Because who don't like big sword in a close combat gundam? If not, then at least let it have gouf ignited beam sword. Or give it some rocket anchors and get athrun to use them and do acrobatic fighting with the suit. It has the speed and the weapon systems to do that.

In Gundam seed, that tall crest is actually an indicator whether a suit is a "Commander's" unit or not, :) and also its a custom design to any of Athrun's Mobile suits as the Aegis, Justice, Savior & Infinite Justice has a large crest. if i remember correctly the Justice Gundam is suppose to be Freedom's "Elder brother unit" that's why its taller and bulkier and maybe more durable since being designed as a close combat suit and also, one pair of the Thruster flaps on the Fatoom-00 is attached incorrectly

Original Justice actually isn't a close combat suit. It's more of a general purpose MS. Its close combat equipment is too basic for a melee specialized suit... just 2 beam sabers and 2 beam boomerangs.

I'm pretty sure that the tall crest is just a sensor that is used for improved interaction with the fatum

It is a sensor, I was building the Justice and it's in the manual around the middle with the info/artwork page. Also Justice isn't really close combat, like Gusion said. The Infinite Justice however is. Also fun fact of the day, the increased length of the Justice beam saber effect parts make it so the Ambidextrous Halberd is the same length as the backpacks wing span. Coincidence?

Infinite Justice is my fav mobile suit from all the Gundam Franchises :D, the Fatum back back can provide a ton of trust to get in close quarters, It can double as an independant support unit and it can also serve to hover in the air permanently under earth's gravity like a boss! :D Also I liked how it totally wrecked Destiny, the strongest suit in the Anime along with bitch Shin Asuka. I don't like how Freedom is basically easy mode with just press one button to blast everyone and Jesus Kira Yamato is super annoying lol

but Strike Freedom, Infinite Justice and destiny are already good unlike Freedom that still use ball joint in the hip(that's why Freedom get 2.0), those 3 already have good articulation and solid

@@Jirujan MG is over 10 years old for these kits. That's why they need to have a newer version. Also there needs to be a new PG build.. The Strike Freedom PG frame was in 2010 and I don't think they should release strike freedom on the same build..

@@wanderingbufoon just because it's old, doesn't mean they need new version. even MG 2.0 Inner Frame from RX-78 and Zaku are still good. people just want those gundam to be 'modernized' like Freedom 2.0 and Justice, slimmer body and more panel line

@@Jirujan could careless about panel lines.. you can always add em yourself. It's those frames for stability and articulations that people want changed. Take the PG Strike Freedom for example. Its joints are so weak and flimsy that HG beats it. I know you could always shove a glove or paper on them but that defeats the purpose as those will also wear out. It's all about the frame first, exterior second.

The shoulder boomerangs have always bugged me about that suit. I thought they'd be better hidden as part of the side skirt armor, and the sabers could be hidden in the forearms.

In terms of the Camera size its larger Because Athrun (the pilot) was the Leader/Group Commander of his Tactical Elite Team and the improved camera was for greater battlefield situational awareness and command control... at least I think that's the reason why : P

Fairly sure the backpack wings should be rotated at the inner joint to be inline with the rest of the backpack rather than floating in front of it for flight mode, probably an oversight.

It still have those waist joints. I thought Bandai fix the problem. I got my Freedom like a year ago it only last me a month. Till this day I'm still trying to figure out to either fix the problem or just trash and get another one.

Just finished my out of box build of this guy and only 2 things disappointed me 1) The lack of a left hand trigger finger (which is one of the reasons I prefer fully possible hands) 2) How terribly weak the action base is, I was freaking out that it would snap, sending my kit tumbling to the ground. I ended up switching to an Action Base 1 that I had a different kit on and that base has absolutely no wobble, probably benefiting from the screw based construction.

Can anyone comment on the nub marks? Like, does it have that many visible/obvious ones? I really don't have trouble making them disappear, but it's just so much work and eats so much time and requires so much care every time (no, I don't like the x-acto knife and real-touch marker technique). Because of it I've been reluctant on buying new kits recently because it's just so much work.

Such a great model. I've always kinda felt the Justice should've had the Freedom's wings, minus the the cannons, as they would offer the close quarters justice more speed and maneuverability and the freedom being a mid range unit would benefit more for a detachable booster like the Justice has to give it more support at range. One day I'll get an extra set of both to bash together and see if that idea actually works

This one is indeed great, but I agree that GM Sniper II is still the kit to beat this year. The ZZ is looking to be great in its own right, but I don't know if anything can beat the Sniper. It's gonna be a long wait to see what the September hobby show brings for the end of the year.
