I have my favorite GT4 memory with this car. I was a kid, and this was my first fast-as-balls race car. I was at a phase where I began to hate GT4 for giving me tons of worthless prizes! I got the 88CV after winning El Capitan 200 miles I believe, and it blew me the hell away. I enjoyed the game much more as a kid. My reaction to just seeing its specs in my garage and racing it the first time was totally priceless.

I used this car in the GT championship. Soft tires. Ai and myself would pit half way through each race. This race was only 3 laps. I pit after lap 1, but the ai didn’t pit at all. I scrambled to catch up, assuming defeat. By some miracle, the 2 front running Nissans spun out in the Ford chicane and I managed to sneak by for a win at the line. Highlight of my GT experience!!!

I miss the car icons appearing. GT6's system is the best, but I miss physically seeing the cars pop up to see who's in first or second depending on your position. It's the little things that make the GT games my favorite racing franchise and just the best racing games, imo.

The 88C-V was always fun to drive but my favorite car in GT4 always will be the legendary Sauber Mercedes Benz C9, even the KI was the fastest in the Sauber in Endurance Races
