They were all lost After She died Confused Afraid Alone They didn’t know what to do Trapped in this “forest” This huge, icy forest covered by layers of fog Separated They couldn’t find each other Trying to survive in this forest as a blizzard makes their skin freeze up Every day they spent in that forest It got more unbearable For four years They were trapped in that forest Unable to think Numbed They eventually even forgot what we were hoping for in the first place Aubrey thought she had been abandoned by everyone Left to suffer alone Kel thought that if he lied to himself Made himself think that the cold was good He wouldn’t suffer as badly Hero went into a depression that first year Hiding in a cave One just as cold as outside Snowing just as hard After that, he tried to leave the forest Without everyone else He could not ever truly leave Basil blamed himself Made himself suffer a consequence that he didn’t deserve Taking off his clothes Leaving himself exposed to the cold And Sunny Sunny let himself forget everything Sunny gave up on trying to find anyone Sunny gave up on protecting himself He just let himself float around In a frozen lake Drifting Freezing himself more and more Until he was encased in the ice But he would be leaving in a few days Not on his own accord The forest would follow him Forever Until He Died (That was a poem I made describing the hikkikomori route and how I wanted to tie it in with snow globe mountain/forest. i hate how you're never gonna have a life to yourself. i don't know if you've ever had any aspirations, if you've ever worked towards a goal. i used to think that i didn't want anything, too-- that i wasn't capable of working on anything. the very act of trying rotted my bones. it wasn't a question of succeeding when i couldn't find it in myself to start in the first place. but you're stuck in a place you might never get out of. when i played omori, i decided to give myself a chance. those tears healed me in a way. i wish i could reach you somehow, give that to you-- it's been five years and i'm being stupid. i would never be able to help you in the way you need. it's just. it's so unfair. you were just a kid. we were both kids.

the fact it's been almost a year since this video came out stabs me directly in the heart and it hurts. The passing of time has been harsh and it feels like watching the world around you turn to grey. you watch the world go on to become a new place, a place that holds color but you're stuck in this dead empty land. You hope and prey someone else is out there and that you aren't alone but this world is so vast even if there was anyone else you'd never find them. being stuck in a broken world. but everything you love is there so you stay. But it's quiet. It's like a liminal space. there's something really beautiful about it. It's almost an art in how it's faded so gracefully but it's also heart shattering. as it dies a part of you does, even if you decide to go on. You're given a choice to die with it or let it take a part of you away as you continue forward to join another thing that will also very soon begin to fade. You can also stay there, in there darkest coldest feeling ever. Yet so beautiful. Like a pitch black night with a full moon and all the stars out.
