Love all of the luscious blooms, the 1st white one is my fave, those petals are gorgeous 🤍🤍 Thanks for giving things a try, I appreciate knowing what I can and cannot use or do with resin❤

Same favourite as mine. The floating mica was gorgeous. It was so hard to get the sparkle, and the video didn't do it justice. You are more than welcome, darling. My pleasure ❤️

I've grown tired of bloom technique, but appreciate anyone trying variations. I have been into nail art longer than resin stuff, and can tell you any nail powders are the same as resin pigment powders. I buy whatever is the best bargain.

I'm not really a lover of them. I do a mixture if things. Blooms being my least favourite thing. I try to cater for all viewer requests etc.. I work with anything that goes into resin that's how artists should be of it works it works. If I was just to be one of them channels just colouring in molds people will get bored. There's only so many colouring you can do hence why I always add a little different and go out of my comfort zone

Thank you so much. Yeh, you can change the colour of the bloom. Most use mica powders, but mica powder doesn't bloom like the white. I'm glad you like and you are most welcome. At least we can see that we can change the colour of the white without affecting the bloom. Thank you for watching. It's highly appreciated ❤️

Thank you sweetie. Oh have you. Did it work. I've tried them before. They didn't work as too heavy. They might work with a very slight opaque white as a carrier

@@dandaresin it sort of worked, my resin was too thin and the powder is heavy, but I’ll try it again at some point! The video is lined up anyway more as a ‘what not to do’ 😆
@dandaresin
@dandaresin 2 ай бұрын
@thedragonscave4963 it's always good to show things that don't work because you can correct it if you know how... let your resin thicken to 34⁰ to 36⁰ and then try again. Maybe try and add the powder to some white pigment paste but the paste to be very slightly opaque that may work but I'm not sure if it will keep its glow. It would also depend on the brand as alot of brands are very grainy and don't mix well in resin

@thedragonscave4963 lmao lol 😆 I got .ine of temu for 40p lol 😆 yeh some some is like that. Mix it with some isopropyl alcohol 1st before putting into the slightly opaque white. The alcohol will help it bloom to hahaha I'm full of ideas. I just don't do them as I'm not a lover of blooms. To many people do them

Hi great video beautiful blooms, you can also use any colour pigment paste, iv done it with pastes, could you bring that alcohol ink one back in 6 months or so to see if the colour of the ink has faded? Thanks for sharing ❤❤❤ xxx
@dandaresin
@dandaresin 2 ай бұрын
I didn't do the pigment one as that's been done before and seen it a few times. It was more working with different types of powders to get different effects, as powders are heavy and dont have a huge sucess rate to perform a normal bloom like the standard white colour does etc.. yes, I can bring it back in 6 months, and we can see if it's faded. No problem at all. You are most welcome. Thank you for watching Michelle ❤️

Mica powder is heavy, and I haven't seen many successful with it. It's why I tried the floating mica powder into the white and the mica flakes because they are light they wouldn't effect the bloom.. thank you for your continued support, sweetheart ❤

@@dandaresin I tried again, somehow it made some petals,but still not perfect. And now I'm out of art resin,need to restock again, so I try them again,as few petals have given me hope.What I did was ,I made lines with white resin mix,then mica powders mix.First one was a big fail,but still beautiful, so I posted it.Second one is a bit better but not posted yet.Your experimenting gave me hopes to try these again, Ms Donna 🙏💜

Donna, thank you so much for doing this experiment for us. You asked if anybody was doing something similar and Petra Gerbracht? (sorry for the spelling) uses micas and different colored mediums for her "white" added in with her white pigment drops. You should definitely check her channel out as well. I have a quick question though where did you get that purple silicone pencil stirrer thingy? I definitely need one of those lol. Thank you again for all your wonderful videos and creative ideas. I'm sorry you've had people be assholes about your kids making noises. As a mom of special needs kids myself, I admire you so much for being able to do the resin and video editing and all the hard work that goes into a channel like this, on top of taking care of little ones that need a little extra love and attention. You're amazing Donna!! Keep up the good work. 💖🥰

Thank you, sweetie.. yes, I follow petra she uses pastes and mica powders to colour her resins. I haven't seen anyone do alcohol inks into their whites. I did check 😀 The silicone stick is a set from temu. Do you want the link. I can link for you, no problem. I'm kind of getting used to negative comments now, not to hit and just block the. I've also turned on filtration on the comments, so if anyone is nasty or negative, that's personal, I won't be able to see. That's so very sweet of you to say. It's very hard work, but you know yourself it works when you have a strict routine, and as a mom yourself, you know kids need routine. I so appreciate your comment. It was lovely and very much appreciated. I hope to see more of you in the comments. Thank you once again ❤️ 💙
