Whares the turbo whistle do lb7 not do it? All 3 if my duramax pickup have it. 2005 Lly 2006 lbz and 2015 lml when ever you first start them up they have the ruble for maybe 10 to 15 seconds or so the the turbo whistle

That’s the vanes in the turbo opening up. When you switch to non-vgt turbos they don’t open up like that. They spool when they spool, at full spool my compound s400’s will push 80psi of boost

Many 10 blade turbos will whistle low with fixed geometry turbos, but with compounds, your atmospheric charger will double as a muffler. It will take a lot more drive pressure to get any real whistle out of the larger charger.
