Once that threshold is met two doors are required and a shout be remotely located from each other. Both IBC and NFPA virtually have the same requirements so that's why I did not quote what section and what code. Chapter 10 of IBC and chapter 7 of NFPA these requirements that I speak up here have been in place since virtually kingdom come

If the occupancy load of an "A" space that is sprinkled is 600 it requires 3 exits, and 1 of those must be 1/2 (I have not found 1/3)the diagonal distance from one of the others. My question is what is the minimum distance between the third door and either of the others? Thanks again for the clarification.

Matt Noblitt Matt, Great question, I have always applied each door independently of each other so that all doors in a fully sprinkled building where one 3rd by diagonal distance from each other. That is not saying that is the code. I'll be traveling today so I will have time on the plane to do some reading hopefully the next day or so I should be able to give you at least my opinion of what the code reference reads.

Your math is wrong. You multiply the diagonal by 1/2 or 1/3.

you are correct my words are wrong, The MATH :) is correct. I say divide when I should say multiply you are correct.
