I would say if an aspirant has a good reading habit then they don't really need to read the newspaper if you are doing enough current affairs and gk. I was AIR 194 in 2023 CLAT, and I never read the newspaper. This might not work for everyone and it's still recommended to read the newspaper for most students but do not unnecessarily stress yourself out trying to do everything everyday. Just get your basics right and keep practicing mocks.

@@Shonaa639 I used to study the monthly compendium released by 12MinutesToCLAT for my current affair’s preparation. Static GK isn’t really that important, just have a basic background of things that you study in current affairs as that is what is actually asked as static Gk. For example, if you are studying about the recent budget, read about it’s history and it’s important moments for your static.

I agree with whatever you’ve said in this video sir because I myself used to read a ton of articles on newspapers and that helped me to drastically improve my reading and comprehension skills. That really helped me in doing well in CLAT this time and I was able to secure AIR 905 in CLAT2023.

Sometimes you won’t be able to understand a para or two in an editorial. It’s suggested to ask your mentor in that scenario because in analysis videos also they don’t explain it word by word.
