I have received such an alert about a dangerous person on the loose some time ago in my area. It was called a “Blue Alert.” Very concerning because I had never even seen or had been aware of its existence before. This would have been a perfect time to use this alert system in conjunction with a TV and radio news break to warn the public. Not everyone owns a smart phone, watches TV, or listens to the radio, but hopefully someone in their life does and will try to contact and apprise them of the situation. At least, I know I would try to let all my friends and family know when there’s bad weather or something bad is going down (yes, I know that I am a crazy person). These officials were remiss in their responsibility to notify and protect the public.

Failures all around. WTH are they taking serious violent offenders off site for medical attention. Prisons are violent, people get hurt, and people get sick. They should have a hospital on premises. And if they do have to transport a prisoner there should be at least one state trooper providing security.

Too many prisoners for 2 guards on the bus to start with. Sounds like hecwas hiding at that house and ran to woods everytime they came checking. He wasn't spotted because he didn't move around. ? Is why shoot family just hide till they leave.

That makes more sense than what they were first saying that he cut the bars from the top of an open site if we would have seen that but she was on the ground than the other makes more sense
