There are a lot of pipe bands in NI reflecting the Ulster Scots history of the Plantation of Ulster -plenty history on it in various books etc best wishes

Why are so many wearing Scottish attire? Is the Irish traditional clothing the same as Scotland? (I am from Germany so unaware).
