12th USAIHC Composition Forum | July 6, 2022 | Ford-Crawford Hall

The USAIHC Ruth Inglefield Composition Contest takes place the year prior to the triennial performance competition. It was established as a part of the USAIHC’s goal to inspire composers to write new works for the harp and to promote the instrument, and the winning composition becomes required repertoire in Stage III of the corresponding performance competition. The 7th Composition Contest received 107 applications from 30 countries. The program below includes performances of all five compositions that were selected as finalists in the contest.
