It usually depends on your current ratings. You can calculate easily by using clamp meter and apply formula of P = V x I You can watch this with details in a link below. Thanks kzbin.info/www/bejne/jmGpZJKYmJKKd9k

@academicsstudio8 ай бұрын
No it will not perform well. Voltage drop in series will be more at each of the peltier module.. 12V/4 = 3V is not enough for each Peltier module...

To 12706 peltier module and it will form ice Thanks for replying bro
@academicsstudio2 жыл бұрын
in "12706" .. 6 indicates max ampere rating .. so you can privide 6 dc amperes .. but it will not make pure ice as , it will create small water vapour particles into ice but not change the surrounding temperature .. So peltier can't act as a mini fridge :(

Bro can i connect 2 peltier module & 2 fan in 12v 10 amps power supply? Reply bro.
@academicsstudio2 жыл бұрын
In series Current remains same, in parallel current is divided .. so try use them in parallel way and check the dc amperes with digital multimeter as well .. If condition satisfies then go on 👍

Bro i have one doubt, if i give 12v 10amps for the peltier, is it works better? Please reply bro
@academicsstudio2 жыл бұрын
hello Dear If your peltier is 5Amp then it will work at its full potential , if you give them more then 5amp then it will burn the Junction or peltier module .. so i wont recommend this ..

I'm sorry to say you can't cool water as its one surface is colder and other surface is hotter. There's not enough cooling that helps you to cool water.. I performed many experiments but it didnt provide me enough cooling ..

Heatsink is not Electrical Component. It is used to Extract Heat coming from back side of the peltier.

@academicsstudio2 жыл бұрын
No , Don't do that.. Peltier Works on DC power. AC Power is for Power Supply. Power Supply will generate 12V 5AMP DC current.

Peltier should be 5v or 10 v
@alokpandey99522 жыл бұрын
Those 12706 peltier goes upto 92w in power consumption, so in 12v they required 7.6A or aprox 8A power supply. Your 5A power supply could only reach till 60w.
@academicsstudio2 жыл бұрын
I tried with more specs than you mention, but it failed after couple of time, didnt provide enough cooling like the videos available on youtube for DIY mini referigerator ..

@trustee1108 Жыл бұрын
12706 isn’t supposed to consume more than 6A right? I think the problem you had was that the hot side got hotter and affected the cooling effect. Try using water cooling I think that’s more efficient.
