12V power socket correct installation tutorial: DIY in any motorcycle

The way you speak, sounds you r humble :) Few days back, I got my RR310 (indeed ur R3 is much better in power :) ) I'm also gonna install the DC12v socket. Your suggestion is correct to not fit wires directly to the + & - terminals of the battery. I also chked my TVS dealership regarding using given fuse for my DC socket installation. He told me they won't be responsible if fuse bursts out. Even though, vehicle warranty can also get dismantled. So I decided to install an inline switch with an extended wire so that I can keep that switch under the pillion seat & I can make it on, only at the time of use to avoid any unnecessary battery drainage.

Thanks, very helpful. The simplest explanation I've seen using the minimum tools with no need to remove fairings etc. Took me about 10 minutes and I have no special skills. Followed to the letter and worked first time on my Kawasaki. Principle must be the same for all bikes.

thats called saree guard.. protects if someone sits with long 👗 / saree.. in india women prefer to sit sideways thats why its present in every motorcycle

Hi! This helped me alot to connect my motorbike's dash cam to a fuse that is not always on so it only powers-on when the lights off the bike switch on. I have a question. Is it safe to just wrap it round the fuse? No danger for fire or anything?

You just wrap it around the fuse and then shut down the cover. That's all
