Love what you accomplished. Only recommendation I can see is instead of welding the motor shaft to the blower chute shaft, use a lovejoy connector. Decouples them so you can replace components when they get ruined. Another option is a wireless winch remote. Works great for my 1025r and my 60” alloway rau rear blower! Cheers!

I did exactly what you did except that I used a car window motor and already had a 2 pole switch from a 12v winch , its on my Kubota 3130 has been for a few years works great. I used a plastic bucket to cover the motor with a slot cut for the pulley and belt.

While your at it you should have mounted a linear actuator on the spout to control the tip. Doesn't that rod affect the snow blowing channel?

I used a 69$ winch rated for 2000 Lbs. from CTC, It was on sale and with my CTC money it was a lot cheaper. It came with a switch, I am working on a stop switch so it does not go to far. It works great, It has never froze up. Just another way to hook it up Have you every thought of putting a 3rd function valve on your tractor. P.Auto sales them, it is worth having on your tractor for any extra Hyd. fitting you may need. It was a great build.

Dwight Mc Lean I done it with a winch to on my old skid steer worked great ..and yes I am going to see how this actuator works out on the plow blade if it doesn't work I will put in a 3 function value.thanks for the comment

I put heavy duty springs on the cables before attaching to the chute. When the winch got to the end I still had some play when the springs stretched out. .

Great idea! Looks like it works quite well! I'm going to try using a wiper motor, (which is a little more powerful than a window motor) to power a tongue jack (which is just a large screw inside) to angle the blade on my snowplow. What do ya think? I figure the jack has a rating of 3000 lbs. so it should hold the blade in the position without being able to move once it stops. It will work much the same as the actuator you used to angle your blade, just more heavy duty. I hope it works!
