For those that are still reading after seeing the Ben Simmons name, congrats on pushing thru! We are not counting on him to score, just to pass. He has gone over this line in 7 of 10 games. He is playing around 24-25 minutes per game, but he has been an Assist machine this season because he doesn't even look at the hoop or try to score at all! The Hornets are a team that allows spot up shooters to have good looks, which could really help him get some more assists to shooters. With Claxton out, I like Simmons to get decent minutes. He is averaging 11.2 Potential Assists per game. He has 3 games where he has gotten 14+ Potential Assists even. Hornets are below average in allowing Assists overall to their opponents. As long as we don't have bad luck here, I like Simmons to get 6+ Assists for the 8th time in 11 games. 🏀 Bet #4: Chris Paul (SAS) Under 7.5 Assists (-130 on Bet 365) *0.5 UNIT... Assists wont be as easy without Wemby. We saw it last game as he had 3 dimes on 11 Potentials. He wont be passing to any elite scorers. If he gets 10 or 11 potentials again, he would have to get pretty lucky vs 1 of the best defenses in the Thunder. I think Paul is more of a scorer tonight. 🏀 Bet #5: Brandon Ingram (NOP) Under 37.5 PRA's (-110 on Bet MGM) *0.5 UNIT... Nice sell high spot here for Ingram. Yes, everyone on the Pelicans is out, but thats why this is such a high number. He went over last 2 vs weak defenses vs DEN and LAL. PJ Washington and Naji Marshall are pretty good defenders and should be able to slow him down a bit. When he has faced good defenses, he has struggled more as the #1 guy. Only 2 good defenses he has faced with the main guys out is the Magic and Thunder. He had 21 & 30 PRA's in those 2 games. The Mavs are good defending his shooting range as Ingram isnt a guy who scores in the paint a ton. Mavs are a pretty solid defensive team that will put all their focus on him. Give me Ingram's under PRA's. 🏀 Bet #6: Zach Collins (SAS) Over 11.5 Pts (-115 on Bet MGM) *0.5 UNIT... Collins has played decent without Wemby last 2 seasons. Last year, he went over this line in 9 of 10 games averaging 16.7 Pts/Game. In his only game this season without Wemby, he had 20 points on 13 FG Attempts! This line is a bit too low in my opinion for his high usage now without Wemby.
