You should do a separate video of the best Super Famicom only RPGs, Thanks for all of these lists xD I honestly thought before I only have a few good RPGs to play before I run out, but now I have so much more that I can play! ^-^ I'm so thankful that there is a huge community of Fan Translators and ROM Hackers on the SNES so we can enjoy that system even more than what we could have thought when the SNES was new!

So this is funny, I was just reminiscing about how good fe4 is, and decided to type in: best super famicom games in order to get some validation, and litterally the first video on the subject, I see the thumbnail of this video... anyway, glad you guys enjoyed it aswell. If only it wasn’t so hardcore in the gameplay department. Come to think of it, there’s lots of parallels between fe4 and fe5 and Dark Souls, which I’m playing through right now for the first time. Maybe I should introduce this game to some of my friends. (Imagine saying « this game is the Dark Souls of» unironically. Well I think there’s a point to be made here. Oh well)

Allow me to take a moment to gush over Gundam Wing Endless Duel; Simply put, it's the Smash Bros. of Fighting games. It's easy to pick-up, hit-boxes are conveyed clearly, mechanics easy to learn, execution windows are just perfect (every move input you intend to do is done), this makes learning ridiculously intuitive without being anything close to a "baby's first fighter". The ENTIRE roster is fun to play, balanced, and unique. With Natsume's recent revival (Wild Guns and soon, Ninja Warriors) I would gladly invest, even double dip on this one.

Some of these games are pretty much essential to me. Magical Pop'n should be raised to the heights of some of the more recognizable 2D platformers of the 16-bit era. The 4th Ganbare Goemon game is bonkers in a good way. Great Battle IV became and all-time favorite immediately, And Rendering Ranger R2 would have a spot in the 2D action game hall of fame [If it existed]. As always, great stuff, love this channel and have a happy, healthy 2017.

I don't know if you've ever heard of it, but Aeon Genesis has a translation patch for an obscure RPG called Dark Law: Meaning of Death. It's very odd, starts very slowly, and the gameplay is completely unlike any other JRPG I've played. It's the most hidden gem I've ever played for SFC/SNES, because nobody else ever seems to mention it, even though it's one of the more memorable that I've passed.

Great job on the list. I've recently begun to pay more attention to SEO. You could do a lot to help this gain traffic. Your tags are only names of the games. When I take a look at my related video, almost nothing like this video shows up. KZbin is confused about what type of video this is, so it will have a hard time recommending it to people. Adding a few tags like "Top 10 SNES Games" will really help with related video and search engine results. You don't want to add tags that are lies, just ones that are true and would help KZbin categorize your video for better SEO. I hope you didn't mind the tips. Good luck and keep it up. :)

Dragon Warrior V and VI (released in Japan as Dragon Quest V and VI, the naming convention didn't change in the western market until Dragon Quest VIII, after Dragon Warrior VII) are at the top of my list - updated re-releases on later platforms not withstanding. I'm particularly fond of the old NES Dragon Warrior games though, and it's likely my favorite game series of all time. I might eventually get the mobile apps. :S
