IKKAKU by Nahvalur, specifically the Lan-Yue with the crossflex Regalia nib is a beautiful new writer. The Gladiator by Montegrappa is an interesting design.

I've never been a huge fan of fountain pens

I press too hard so they wouldn't really last that long (I was originally dual-handed leaning more towards the left hand, but I was forced to learn with my right hand exclusively). At least the guy has some decent handwriting. Been watching a few pen review videos and it's kinda ironic how 'reviewers' are saying if a pen writes well or not, but they lack the capability to even have halfway-decent handwriting in the first place. It's not like my handwriting is amazing, but at the very least it's very readable and doesn't look like a 7 year old's.
