Just up the road from you someone converted an old wooden boat into a cabin. And not just any wooden boat, the Cutty Sark's sister ship - Cleta. Probably the only stuga that has rounded Cape Horn. Worth a look.

Thank you! And yes the air is wonderful here so fresh and clean! Second cleanest in all of Europe we found out! A big difference from Puglia where the air was often very air polluted sadly and causing me some lung troubles 😢 really thankful for this fresh beautiful air quality. Happy Easter

The boat house is so beautiful hopefully it will be a lovely little retreat eventually and a nice place to stay while we renovate more. Cooking over an open fire has come with a number of years of practice, we used to burn a lot of things too in the beginning but now it’s one of our favorite things to do as the flavors cannot be beat 😃 enjoy your week

Happy Easter!!🙌…You are doing a great job. I’m amazed by the wood conditions of the boat cabin, the wood get deteriorated so fast in tropical weather, but it’s seems to endure in winters weather. BTW, the wooden canoe looks great! Loved it!

Hi Watch all your videos . What would u treat a floor with of a wooden cabin to make it water resident and easier to clean ? Just some advise as have cabin at bottom of garden . Love your videos x

Thank you! We are going to add a new floor but if you have an existing wooden floor I would seal it with a water based polyurethane roughly 3 coats should give you a durable floor finish if it’s not the type of cabin that is used daily. We will talk about this soon in an upcoming video as we will be sealing our floor next week hopefully 🤞🏼

Water based Polyurethane. 3-4 coats for a floor that isn’t used every day like a house should work 😊

Big progress coming this week! New video out Sunday for that 😊 We searched for about a year online and we found it on a website called Hemnet. Lake side property doesn’t usually come up often for a reasonable price but this one needs a lot of work and also the family were really keen to sell as there were a few owners in the family and they were feuding 🫤 it was just really luck that we were able to get it in our price range and good timing due to the specific circumstances but if you keep your eye on a search occasionally they do appear for a nice price 😊
