Hey guys, just got back from a 10 day winter camping expedition with some good folks, honestly it was one of the coolest trips I've ever been on but I'll be busy editing that video for the next two weeks so in the meantime here's the full version of my favorite canoe trip ever!! I’m from Washington state and I used to live in between 3 gorgeous national parks and countless state and municipal parks and the outdoors was incredibly abundant, but I am currently living in Ibarra Ecuador as part of a voluntary deaf education work. Living in the city with no car and the wild outdoors feeling so far away and hard to get too I greatly appreciate your videos as they help Alleviate the feelings of home sickness, and inspire new trip ideas from when I get home. Love your videos and keep it up.

Xander and John Here' a trout cooking tip from an old trout fisherman! There is no need to fillet trout. On the large ones 2-5 lbs, just gut the fish the cut into 1" steaks (crosswise on the fish). When you cook the steaks in the frying pan the meat and skin will separate from the backbone thus no meat waste and no bones!
