"I need ammo, not a ride" What the fuck is the western nations waiting on? Lets end this "Special Military Operation" once and for all, then we can concentrate on China and their crap! I don't know about you all but I am tired of all this government pussy footing around trying for appeasement. China, Russia, North Korea and Iran have been attacking the west for years. It would be a big loss for Ukraine; Pokrovsk is a major logistics hub. If it falls, Ukraine can't hold ground in the East. A message from Eastern Europe on Friday evening CET time: 3 years into following RFU on yt, and 10 years into following the ru invasion of Ukraine by russia. And because we have friends, family and coworkers in UA since before moskow started sending its "little green men" into UA: We support YOU! We support Ukraine and the AFU for being at the forefront of Western Democracy. In Poland, we remember the 2012 EUFA Championship when you visited us. And we visited you. For many of us that was when we knew that you were like us; simple people looking forward to give a better lives to our kids. Everyone in Central and Eastern Europe undertsand that last sentence. I cannot thank the RFU team enough for your constant reporting. Day in, day out. You are needed more than you may think, especially after "3 years".

the only reason russia is struggeling with equipment is because ukraine is has been sent 130 billion dollars in military aid from over 30 different countries without this support they would have lost years ago a large majority of ukrainian artillery shells are western aid because ukraine cannot make enough itself to sustain the war effort while russia still has a 5 to 1 artillery advantage with very little external aid even the american supposedly invincible abrams tanks have suffered heavy losses with 16 out of the 31 tanks sent being destroyed a casualty rate of almost 60% also russia does not use meat wave tactics anymore opting to send smaller infantry squads in trucks ifvs and acps to take indivdual trenches reducing casualties

Early in the war small groups of Bradleys were sent against multiple Russian tanks, presumably in an attempt to replicate 73 Easting. I'm not sure why it didn't work. Ukraine will win in the long run even without support from USA. This is a war of attrition, and the level of attrition on the russian side is simply unsustainable. In the summer of 2025 they will have no heavy equipment (tanks, artillery, APCs) left at all. Their stockpiles of old soviet material will be completely empty. Remember WWI, when Germany launched 4 quite succesfull offensives in the spring of 1918, but still had to give up and hoist the white flag in november 1918. Why? Their resourses were emptied, the german high command understood they had nothing left to fight with. In this war, Russia will face the same situation at some point in 2025, probably in the summer.

Pentagon Wars gave them a bad name, but I'd say Bradleys are possibly the most effective military vehicle in the world right now, which has been highlighted by Ukraine. The MRAPs have been another highlight for minefields, which is interesting because prior to the conflict they were seen as almost useless for peer on peer conflict and NATO members felt they were a liability. Would be nice if they had some armour, though.
@JaneJetsin
@JaneJetsin 29 күн бұрын
You make a common mistake. Bradley’s are possibly the most effective light vehicle in the Ukrainian conflict right now. They are effective against the Russia equipment being fielded right now in this terrain. But not in the world.
@HermeticJazz
@HermeticJazz 29 күн бұрын
@JaneJetsin They are good against Russian and Chinese equipment. You know what the world outside of NATO uses. Inside NATO America still has better tanks than the Bradley. Ukraine has been nothing but an advertisement that what we developed during the Cold War in the 80s and 90s beats the "next gen" of Russia and China.
@stephenbernard3003
@stephenbernard3003 29 күн бұрын
Different battlefields have different threats. The drone threat means having fast moderately armoured vehicles is essential to re supply. Mines are constantly being laid by artillery and drones so mrap has plenty of use
@JaneJetsin
@JaneJetsin 29 күн бұрын
@ You are absolutely correct that Ukraine is the SECOND place and THIRD time we demonstrated that American equipment is far superior to Russian/Soviet Union. We saw that twice in the Middle East against Iraq starting in 1991. This is the 3rd time it’s been demonstrated that our OLD equipment out classes theirs. Ukraine is not fielding our latest technology. However the Bradley is not a tank. It’s an Infantry Fighting Vehicle which is quite different than a tank. Twice in Iraq we demonstrated that our same Abrams tanks FAR out classed the same Russian tanks being used in Ukraine. So why aren’t the Abrams doing the same in Ukraine? 1) Dynamic tank formations take larger numbers than Ukraine has. 2) Dynamic tank formations take more training than Ukraine has time for. 3) Dynamic tank formations take air superiority that we had in Iraq and Ukraine does not. In Iraq on a couple of occasions Bradley’s dominated Iraq tanks but in most cases, like 73 Easting, we used combined arms consisting of both Bradley’s and Abrams. Point is we knew Bradley could take on Soviet era tanks we just rarely had them fighting alone. Bradley is a good choice to take on even newer Russian tanks in a 2 on 1 situation using the same tactics as two Sherman tanks taking on one Panzer or Tiger in WWII. Most countries with international arms sales use regional conflicts to prove their offerings in real war situations and work out bugs.

@@kerriwilson7732 It's not the number of casualties I'm referring to. It's the trench warfare style and pace of the war. Both sides are dug in and there is little movement.

The orc air force dominated the skies at the beginning of the war. Now with UAF F-16s, things have changed. While orcs have a tank problem, the UAF has modern weaponry.

@@martimasters7704 If I'm not mistaken, the Russian air force disappeared long before the F-16s showed up. Tanks are a similar story. Thanks to Javelins & Stugna-P missiles, tanks have also become ineffective. Planes and tanks are not supporting the infantry as they traditionally have.

Please make the preview picture more accurate. It seems to become clipbait-y now compared to the old videos😢

Why are the FACTS in the video no where near the THUMBNAIL used to huckster the video?! That's worth at least a 2 week block of your channel by me!

Thanks for this update from the south. Good to hear the slow advance around Pokrovsk has been checked. What is the manpower situation? Neither side wants to make a significant draft, so an estimate of each sides current strength, and loss rate, will help understand how this is likely to go - absent a breakthrough.

See, I realize you have not been specific in Ukraine achievement. But you give a positive hopeful outlook to balance some of Denys Davidov insider information about the Kiev politics, etc. Thanks 🙏

Despite your upbeat reports on Ukrainian successes, Russia makes incremental gains. You do not reflect this fact. All your reports have Ukraine being very clever and defeating russians but the reality is they are making inroads to Ukrainian territory and Ukraine has been effectively retreating for several months. I support Ukraine but you need to be more realistic. Fudging the issue does not help anyone.
