for the roller coaster they used the debug stick which you can only get on java but yeah he used the debug stick to change the position of the rails and in doing so he made it so that you could break the block and place a rail

The Zig Zag Rail one is true. You need to put a piston at the bottom, and two of them one block above beside the first one at the bottom, so if you pit a diagonal rail on the middle piston, then activate the machine, it will work.

The rail one and snow one works for the rail one you have to place 3 pistons down the middle one down the other one two up one block then put rails the it should be pushing up then that’s how you do it. The snow one works the command block was there for a good reason.

You need three pistons. One in the ground, and the two others one on each side then some redstone coming from the piston in the ground and then place the lever down and place a rail on the middle piston then place another rail on either left or right piston and then pull the lever twice and then do the same thing but the second rail on the second time is on the opposite side of which one you started on.
