Very educational video. I have had many cats through the years and a few questions were answered in this video. I own 2 spayed female cats and the one I rescued is going on 16 years old. She was a kitten when I found her.

I have/had males and females and I think I prefer female cats. Both my male cats were very independent and tended to wander while my female cats seemed more affectionate and enjoyed hugs more. But it could go both ways :))

Male or Female. Cats are special and need to receive love and care from humans. They are affectionate and help us to destress

Samantha, a female cat, was brought to our home by a male cat.From all appearances he checked the house twice for her then he left and she has been my companion ever since!

We have twice been graced by unknown tom cats bringing their 'girlfriends' to us. Both 'girls' were pregnant and each produced 5 kittens which are distributed to good homes amongst family and friends. George, the 1st Tom eventually moved out of his shelter in the garden and into our house and his mate went to live nextdoor. Having them all neutered was so important . Since the early 1970s we have had stray kittens and shelter cats of both sexes and have not noticed that the sex of the cat determined how affectionate they were. All were completely loved and cared for and they gave us so much in return. Delights in furry form.

Very informative and enjoyed this video. I learned a lot I have 2 female cats. I always thought males were more affectionate. I had 2 male cats years ago they were so affectionate and well females never warmed up to me until now. I am glad you talked about this in the video because I can see now that it seems more like an individual cat thing how they respond to people. Gender does not seem to play a role. My 2 female cats are totally connected to me and me to them ♥

Yes, both male and female cats can either be aloof or very affectionate. It really is about each unique cat :)) So glad you got something out of the video :))

Money is my second female. I’m on my third male. My girl, Money, is very affectionate. We hit it off instantly. Her brother took two months longer to win him over. But I love and depend on them equally. Both are fixed.
