Going back further with the clock. There was a physics based fps game called Cellfactor from 2006. It was genuinely impressive at the time.

And it really is! I actually played all of the games on the list and a bunch more to make sure I didnt recommend anything bad. But the interval sticks out with its artstyle its really pleasant :)

Yeah they will conflict :) Halo Doom is a total conversion and just smaller additions works with it.

Ok you got me. theese games look amazing and i really love how they look can't wait to play them. i am going over on what games i instlled and why or didin't install and why: The Interval: i did install this game since it looks pixelated and 2D/3D witch is sometimes a risky moove. but the cartoonish look and humor the game brings are awesome. the game looks like it feels well and non-the-less it looks awesome. Crooked Silence: i did install this game since the an horror survival shooter is always a good thing, well most of the times. but after i downloaded the game Gloomwood it has changed my eyes on the horro survival pew pew sometimes funny type of game. in Gloomwood you don't shoot that mutch if you are not fighting someone on purpose and tryng to enter gunplay. this game looks good, can't wait to try it and leave after 10 minutes since my heart can't keep up with the horror. (also game has no settings, so you can;t change the sound, fov, sensitivity etc). HaloDoom: i did not install this game because im just not a fan of multiplayed shooting games. that's kinda all everything else is nice. Shrine 2: i did install this game because it's just a definition of fast faced retro games. looks verry fun it has guns, magic thing weapons, and grenades ( yes i like big boom ). literally i can't call myself a boomer shooter fan and enjoyer if i say no to this amazing game. Penance: i did install this game because it's the same as Shrine 2. fast paced, retro-like, guns and all sorts of other cool things. it looks fun, so this game is a yes. Netscape Cybermind: this game looks so nice and the story looks fantastic. being someone going thru all the old games and fighting all sorts of things is just so cool looking and sounding to me, so this game is an instant yes. A.W.O.L: i did install this game before you made this video, i found it while scrolling thru steam ( the story is amazing it looks great and the AI is so hard to beat. what i mean is you need to be carefull of you'r decisions and ur combat movements and operations or you will just die continously. you need to choose beetwen stealth on combat or just simply going back for cover or you will die pretty quick. guns are super satisfyng tho. Project Osiris: i did install this game looks liek the classing doom game but with more pixels and overall really making a greta game to play and feel. what can you ask more? the game looks feels and has the fast paced combat every boomer shooter needs atleast a little bit of. A.R.D Aline Removal Division: i did install this game since it looked really well. for the people that created the game ( kids ) i am really impressed. the gameplay looks fun and most of all the graphics are amazing. and tbh i do love myself some damage numbers. also double barrel shotgun is an instant download. Agent no.6: i did not install this game since i do not like the look for it. now trust me i loved goldeneye. one of the good classic game i liked and it was very fun but i think that a little horror would ruin that experience for me. Memoirs Of Magic: i did not install this game since i don't really like the look and feel of it. the movement seems fast yeah but it feels kind of janky to me. the weapon and attacks do not seem that enjoyable in my perspective of the game but that just me. the game does not look or feel right for me. Furry Apocalypse: i did download this game since it looks incredible it's the perfect amount of fast paced i need. you will probably be shocked of how fast games need to be to be categorized as fast for me but this one hits the spot. cool weapons and graphics, very nice mechanics. also bulling furies is fun lol. Trenchpunk: i did install this game since it brings back the feel of only looking left and right, not being able to look up and down might seem weird but you get over it after a bit, the look of the game looks amazing even for pixels and the feel looks like a very fun time. also M1 garand reloading goes hard so yeah. Overall it looks like a verry nice list of games that you put here truly one of my favorite videos you posted ( take that as an compliment please ) and please keep up the good work. you'r channle has been the thing that keeps my gamer sense and brain kind of alive. Thanks for exploring itch.io i am greatefull. Also you could have added the game REAVER. It's currently in demo so it's free for now atleast. But i get that once it has a full release it won't be free so i understand.

I had that game installed just by scrolling thru steam because i was bored. I just stumbled upon the free game category and i wanted to see what free games look like theese days. And i did found aome good games and i also found some.... weird games ( " fuck putin ", " fuck hitler " ). But besides that, there were some good free games. Also A.W.O.L is so hard if ur not patient

Yeah, there is a lot of really trash free games that you need to go through to actually find the good ones. But A.W.O.L def fits in the good category for me, even if its a bit more tactical and slow 😁👍

The only real boomer shooter is the quake series and fuck they where not famous for their puzzles or singleplayer. Mayby add quake champions ,its the only thing that comes close to a boomer shooter in these days. Ultrakill and all those would have been cool but who the fuck wants to play these games when they dont have multiplayer,not us boomers :)

Haha im more dragged towards the single player experience, many of us boomers today now have kids, wifes etc. It's jus much more accessible to play single player :)
