I saw this show in 1964 (I was 15 at the time) in its pre-Broadway tryout in Boston. And I remember that the lyrics for this song originally had a reference to Mary Baker Eddy, which was quickly changed when the critic for The Christian Science Monitor -- at that time a highly respected, internationally focused daily paper -- took offense. 🙂
