13 June 2024 PURPOSE OF HAJ

Haj is the oldest congregation where people from all over the world gathered at Makkah in saudi Arabia . Islam has 5 pillars, the first is Belief in one God and his prophet Muhammad pbuh. 2nd is salath or namaz from fajr to isha 5 times a day. saum that is fasting in the lunar month of Ramadhan . These three pillars are common for all believers but 3rd zakat and 5th haj is for person above poverty line with sane mind and adult, he/ she must be capable of bearing the haj expenses of travelling and boarding and lodging . Haj has purpose. it unites people from all over the world with different races, colour and languages on one platform in a dresscode called ahraam. The stay for Haj at Mina falls on the days of tashreeq. from 8th Dhulhaj ( lunar month) to 13th the pilgrims have to follow a restricted schedule From Mina they have to move and present in the scheduled places on time. Arafat
is the wide desert where all hajis should be present. Their presence is so inevitable that patients on pilgrimage if falls ill, from hospitals are brought by airways to arafat.
THE PURPOSE OF HAJ is to announce no discrimination amongst people belonging to different races,colour, regions and languages. subtly show them the unprivilged peoples life. Presence of mind and learn the importance of time and prompt response required in daily life. The role and bonding of family . Unshaken belief in one God who manages the whole universe. He is the creator who has created flora fauna on earth, and shaitan and angels residing usually in skies and on earth all landscapes as well. pilgrims have to maintain cleaniness and sanctity of heart and mind . Avoiding bad language,bad company , they are expected not to sit in corners and worship always. the ibaada that is worship is like hunger which is satisfied at one end and at another rise with time and gap. its attachment and detachment in cycle. Human beings are allowed all their biological needs they aught to live a life .Never get involve in inshady money matters or indulge in giving and taking interest, bribes and corrupted ways . understand and avoid all evil plans and intentions symbolic of pelting pebbles at jamrat the place where Ibrahim alaihssalam and son Ismail were being given evil advises intending to ignore Allah s wish to sacrifice the most loved thing .
Hence mostly membars of affluant cream , elite class is subtly made to feel the pains and troubles of unpriviliged.
Ahram the white unstitched covering is like the shroud that pilgrims use , make them understand that a little movement away from sirat e mustaqeem can lead them to hell fire aftsr death.
so a life care ful at every step is the way of life the pilgrims have to live till death for self, sociery and well fare of world at large
