Wow, the Beatles changed so much by the time of their rooftop concert, they were completely unrecognizable. It's true, Paul died and was replaced with an imposter!

And what about Mahalia Jackson's legendary performance in 1963 during the "March on Washington" rally where she sang in front of 250,000 people just before Dr. King gave his famous "I Have a Dream" speech? (And don't try to worm your way out of it by saying that's not 'rock,' after claiming that the most legendary rock performance in history was a Johnny Cash concert!) And then there's perhaps the most famous performance of all, which you haven't mentioned either: The Beatles performing on 'The Ed Sullivan Show' in February 1964! Or the first live concert broadcast worldwide by satellite in which The Beatles performed 'All You Need Is Love.' Or Elvis Presley's famous '68 Comeback concert. All of these are far more legendary than any David Bowie, Led Zeppelin or Pink Floyd concerts! You need to look deeper into these things before just posting 'off the top of your head.' P.S. And since you've listed Woodstock, which is actually not a performance, but dozens of concerts, I'd like to also mention ABBA's 1977 tour of Australia. If you're unfamiliar with that tour, I urge you to look up the details. No tour ever, excepting perhaps The Beatles (but then only perhaps), captured the public's attention like that one!

They are doing 13 not everybody

@ Not just "13." They claim them to be "13 legendary performances," which most of them are not; they are just run-of-the-mill concerts by popular bands. The examples I've listed are true legendary performances.

Yeah that was definitely one of rock's greatest performances.

WTF you couldn't pirate a few seconds of the Beatles actual performance? Honestly you should have stuck with just the stills, it wouldn't have been as insulting.

why do people get all excited about rock groups, I mean some of them are worth listening to, but many of them weren't. still people would get all excited about nothing at all. No one gave them anything except loud music, bad drugs, and lots of people had sex, then later the girls had fatherless babies. so whats to get excited about. never understood.
