Is it just me ? There is an EXTRAORDINARY sense of cuteness this year! Maybe it was just a long winter, because every year I fall in love with a new family of baby goats! We were watching this adorable video and my husband had two questions: 1) Do goats get fleas? and, 2) Can goats see themselves in a mirror? Curious minds want to know! Thanks.

I’ll have to try the mirror!!! I don’t know! And they sometimes get goat specific mites and lice, mostly late winter when they can’t get out in the sun! Never heard of goat fleas. And they rarely get ticks.

@@SunflowerFarmCreamery - I googled this and learned that they love to investigate mirrors but they don't pass the final personal awareness test. It also said they need to be treated for fleas once a month or they can get very sick. That must be a generalization. It's great that you don't have flea problems. I wonder if that is due to the cold in Maine. We sure have plenty of fleas and ticks in Florida! Thanks very much for the response...
