CLARIFICATION: You don’t need to own Witch Queen deluxe edition to get Osteo Striga, you just need to complete the campaign. How most pre-order exotic weapons work is the season the expansion comes out it is only available to the people who got the preorder deluxe edition, but the next season allows anyone with the expansion to get it. Hope this helps anyone who is confused. So don’t spend the extra money!

Clarification for Whisper of the Worm: White Nail now refunds 1 round (from “thin air”) to your reserves upon landing 3 consecutive precision hits. Previously, it used to refunds all 3 rounds directly to your magazine, having the potential to never run out of ammo.

@@justsomedude1593 linear dps got nerfed plus if not exotic linears really arent that good also it should be doing way more than linear its a heavy ammo exotic sniper meant to be used solely for a boss considering the bosses we have now headshots are deam near impossible without a div not to mention its exotic perk is mid giving a 3.6x precision multiplier versus a regular legendary sniler(that normally out dps unless u have a hsitty world drop roll) 3x precision multiplier white nail does brkng it up to 5x but in my opinion for what it is it should be weapon does no body shot dmg but precision dmg has a base 7x precision multiplier and 14x when white nail is procced and considering we have bosses with 44 mill health now thats not even overkill multiplier tbh

you have to get the weapon before getting the catalyst and then you need to kill a certain amount of enemies with it. usually it’s 600 pve kills for light ammo weapons and around 300 for heavies or less

I’d still make the argument that the best pound for pound catty is Trinity Ghoul. It takes what is an objectively mid weapon and turns it into an objectively S Tier weapon. I really can’t think of one that manages to throw its weapon that far into greatness as it. Keep in mind, a lot of them a really really good.

Genuinely feel like the rate of cat drops are completely messed up. For random drops, there should be a slight increase chance if you're using the desired exotic during playlists. It's also felt like it's more inclined to drop cats in playlists you don't normally play. I could go 4 or 5 days without a single drop on my preferred PVE strikes, but in one day of grinding crucible i obtained 4 cats in about 12 matches.

while the premisce of the video is fine, and you more or less do describe the title fine, you missed a few VERY important things about a decent number of these catalysts that make them good, as an example, the 'accelerated coils' perk added to the sleeper simulant catalyst is unique to that weapon, it's not the same as the regular version of the perk that also reduces the impact of the weapon to give that extra reduction in charge time, or, you didn't actually state that to buy the base version of 'legend of acrius' you will need to not only have the highest tier of general materials needed to buy a weapon from the exotic kiosk, but you will also need to have spoils of conquest from completing raid bosses, which is a massive barrier to entry for many new/returning players for that weapon. there's other nitpicks in how you presented the information provided and while as I stated it's not a clickbait video, you leave out a staggering amount of important information for each weapon and why the catalyst is worthwhile getting for many of them (as some are fairly self explanatory).

Furm believer of trinity ghoul having it's catalyst perk as an intrinsic feels bad that yoy have to get the catalyst just to make the exotic do what it should've done from jump catalydt should've been like trinity ghoul multi kills grant 15% energy to your arc abilities and spawn a lightning rod to throw down st an area to cause lightning strikes there or multi kills "charge" your arc abilities giving them extra dmg and duration

Does anyone know if i need the respective DLC's to get the weapon's catalyst? I played on Playstation for Forsaken/Black Armory and dropped the game (clan died) but slowly got back into the game after migrating to PC. Since I transferred my characters over to PC, the gear that I have collected over on Playstation transferred over, so I have quite a few DLC exotics without having bought the expansions on PC yet (waiting for a sale). Been doing the vanguard playlists but nothing has dropped for me. I'm aware that the drop rate is pretty whack but I just wanna be sure if I do need the expansions for the catalysts.

Unfortunately, Two Tailed fox was indirectly nerfed at the start of this season Last season Void Surge buffed all rocket, now Void Surge only buffs the void rocket For Two Tailed fox this means 2x solar surge and 1x void surge OR 2x void surge and 1x solar surge for maximum damage buff 2. And one more thing, since when does Legend have 4 shots in the magazine? I remember there were only 2 in the magazine 3. And I would add something to the list. Huckleberry, Arbalest, Revision Zero and Fourth Horseman

With the Legend of Acrius note, the weapon originally came from a quest. Partway through that quest, you would get a version that doesnt have any perks and only has 1 in the mag, which is probably what you’re thinking of. The full version of the gun has 4 in the mag, and the perks you see in the collections screen
