I find 7 inches overall length with 3 inches of blade and 4 inches of handle seems about right for an EDC fixie. I've tried many over the years and the CRKT Hunt'N Fisch remains my favorite. The horizontally oriented leather sheath makes it very comfortable to carry in front of my side pocket in a cross-draw position. It is often overlooked because when you browse the knife dealer's websites the Hunt'N Fisch won't be listed under EDC knives. You'll find it with the hunting knives.

Great info 👍🏻 I agree 7-7.5 too
@jasonf.41072 ай бұрын
@@IamElmerJFudd agree with you about blade & handle lengths. I like a full four-finger grip, and for almost everything I do, 3 inches of blade is not only enough, but easier to use than a larger blade.

Good choice. As a folder EDC I like something a bit smaller (Spyderco Dragonfly 2 for me) but the philosophy, use and size is similar.

Been really loving my seasnake. I'm not afraid to use it and scratch or mar it, that blade shape allows a lot of cutting power for straps and ropes and ties. The tip is great for detail work and opening packages. Ergos are great, it takes a quick edge and gets RAZOR sharp. Edge retention could be better, but it's a user. I'm not working with it in my hand all day cutting things that quickly dull a knofe every day. It pucks out splinters really well too🤙
