Part of what I love about your videos is that they are so evocative of my own spectacular moments on the trail here in the US or UK /Ireland or backpacking through Europe in the 70s. The natural world, the small towns, the food, the culture and especially the angels along the way. I’m so glad you are dedicated to taking us with you. Thanks.

Mount hood is beautiful. My parents honeymooned at timberline lodge in 1961. I love that area. There was a huge burn up there a few years back so trails got a bit neglected as they did their best to open up trails in the burn area. Then covid hit hard up there. Mt hood area is well known for avalanches every winter so I’m not surprised to see downed trees. But I still love it. The Columbia gorge is lousy with the most waterfalls. The first scenic drive constructed in the US is the Columbia gorge highway 30. How awesome to walk under tunnel falls?! Enjoy WA, the mt adams wilderness snd goat rocks. Eat lots of huckleberries. I’m glad you are getting to see true Oregon hospitality. Real down to earth and friendly people. I grew up there so I know. WA is very much the same except much of the PCT is far off trail but I’m sure you will find wonderful people there too. Thanks for posting
