Mr. Porter carried almost this entire season! Barely gave a rat's ass about the other characters and I was just waiting for him to wreck shit up. In an otherwise emotionally and empathically empty season, this episode brought me to tears. This felt real, and it felt relevant. Like Hannah was a real girl, with real parents, and that the grief was real. I was stunned at this award winning moment. Oh and one more thing, it brings his arc from being angry at others, like Bryce in ep 1 or 2, to admitting to his own responsibility. He took the blame out there, and internalized it. That is a satisfying end.
