Can you tell me how a force can be applied on the centre practically? (as the remote point is not present on the body)

Hello, I understand that you are thinking about force being applied to a location where there is no body in real. But the remote point could be used to represent a force that could be applied because of other components in the assembly which are not modelled currently.

How to make account on ansys this web

You can search for ANSYS Help Portal and register there. There is another ANSYS Customer portal which probably will be for ANSYS License holders.

How I access ansys tool guide help
@dhyandpatel1322 жыл бұрын
@@eichannel7047 You can check out ANSYS Academic Support website if you do not have the license version of ANSYS. I would also be available for any of your queries specifically related to solid structural simulations and steady state thermal or transient state thermal simulations. I have good hands-on-experience in these simulation models.

How to change that remote force time to 200s
@dhyandpatel132 Жыл бұрын
Hello, You can first define a remote point at required location. And then when you define a force, select the remote point or use remote force if you have an option. After then, it is asked to enter force value. This applies at t=0 seconds. But if you look at a small side arrow beside the box, it should give you options to enter force is different ways. There you should select 'tabular' entry and then define force at required time by creating a step at that time. Hope it is clear and helps you. Otherwise do ping me back.

@@dhyandpatel132 Yaa I saw a Tabular datasheet at the bottom right of the screen having step, time, X Y Z as columns Should I enter time 200s there? But when I try to edit the time 200s, a new row appears and it's not giving any results
@dhyandpatel132 Жыл бұрын
@@mahadevindeevaram yes, you need to enter in new row So enter as 0 force at first step and initial time and then add a new step, required time and the force. Also you might have to update the project information to have 2 steps
