I would add maybe a few things to this list that have been helpful to me: - Stop complaining. It adds no value, makes others miserable, and does not help the problem. Instead, create an optimistic problem-solving mindset. It adds joy instead of sorrow and frustration. - Make your mornings count - people are different and some prefer PM vs AM, but winning the morning is winning the day. You carry the momentum forward. I would especially suggest prioritizing time in the Scripture and prayer here. hanks for the valuable content!

As a young man, I really do love this channel. I always thought I was alone in my struggles with pornography (1 day free btw), and struggles with being a man. But literally, because of this channel, ive been challenged to get closer to Jesus, read more, exercise more, and just overall be more disciplined. Issac thank you for being a vessel for Jesus, and teaching all of us who Jesus really is. May God bless you!

Hey that's so good! But just something to let u in on, don't be counting the days that you're free from that sin it'll just set u up for failure. Instead don't count the days because it's not a count down of how long u can go until giving in, this is ur new life you don't need to look back at the last time u did the sin it's a new person and lifestyle, God bless keep prayin

“You can’t get back time” - This rule is something that has benefited every area of my life because so many things either should be done because time isn’t unlimited, or opportunities pass by because I sat on my hands. ie investing, asking girls on dates, and working out. Don’t live with regret, and think long term! You can always make more money or whatnot, but today’s date only happens once.
@braynjohnson4302 Жыл бұрын
Rule I have to remind myself constantly (and I regularly fail to follow)… Pray FIRST. With any sort of difficulty it’s natural for me to look for a fix on my own power and I often spend lots of time, energy, stress looking for the answer and when I run out of options that’s when I remember to reach out to God. Go to God first in EVERYTHING. In struggles, in pain, in joy. Go to God first in Prayer.

Hey Isaac, my take on your 13th rule and what I would also put there too would be to be mentally present. It’s interesting what happens when I’m mentally present when I’m talking with another individual. On one hand, I naturally feel more empathetic towards the individual, while on the other hand, the receiving individual perceived me as more charismatic and provides the opportunity for more heart-felt and meaningful conversations. This is especially true our short attention span culture.

This channel is so awesome. I came to faith awhile back like 14 yrs old and im 20 now and ive been struggling with lust but its gotten better over the years.I remember being 14 and seeking answers to truth and I was in a dark place and that's what led to me going to porn for distraction its just habit and its fading a bit.I feel that I've been afraid of what God wants from me because although i came to faith it seems that Im scared of what he might call me to do.I really wanna implement the Gospel in my life and I wanna trust in God as Abraham did even though it must've been tough to leave what you knew and to go to the unknown.He still had faith in God.I encourage all the men reading this don't be afraid of what God has for you let's help one another to trust God with our lives we are walking into the unknown but we know that God is faithful.

I may not be a young man (depends on the age limit). However, these rules are all good targets for men. My own rule to add: "Test everything by the Scripture." This one can be taken for granted. Yet, we often forget to test philosophies, ideas, and every other word of knowledge. Men's Channels are popping up everywhere on KZbin and tell you how to succeed as a man. They may say some true things, but it doesn't make all their content safe / godly.

A good rule is not to compare yourself or your life to others. There is a point/place that you can lean from other people’s life and what they do and did. But when that becomes something or a habitat that when you do something or accomplish something, you compare it to someone else in a negative way. And you find yourself constantly knocking yourself down because other people have it better or are doing it better than you.

I'm so sorry you got caught up in all this mess. Now it's too late, the damage is already done and you'll probably live your entire life like that. I guess if that's what makes you happy... but there's a much better option. Where you get to be free, be who you want to be. Not try to impose anything on anyone. Live by the truth, science, logic and what can be proven through research and studies. I can't even be made, I'm just sad. I wish I could save everyone..... I'm gonna read Charles Darwin now, bye.
