lot of people guides for this spec say to use blistering scales off cd on tank but i don't see you casting it that often any tip for that spell?

the only important thing is that it is UP on the tank, doesnt matter how many stacks it has, the talent "regenerative chitin" increases the scale stacks by 5 and restores 1 scale each eruption cast, thats why he almost never casts the ability itself, cus its always up
