I don't know, but the term invention usually is applied to new ideas or at least improvements not DIY versions of things that have been around for hundreds or in half these cases thousands of years.

Not sure if anyone else caught this but the home made auger using the circ saw blade was cut and bent backwards. That plays hell on keyless chucks because they have a tendency to always want to loosen up in reverse. Other than that I made one with a 4 1/2” mini circ blade that’s great for burrowing perfect circles for transplanting plants from pots into the ground. Good stuff and useful ideas for stuff you probably already have lying around as scrap. This is exactly why I have a horde of old stuff in bins because one never knows what else it can be used for. I’ve made tools that had I had to purchase them it would have offset the project cost a lot. Always better to reuse old stock and tools to make new ones whenever you can. Recycling rocks! Some cool ideas in this vid, along with ones I’d never personally use but still, you’ve shown that being resourceful can save one big $!
